Peace School - Sunday we connect the dots through our Bible Storyline. There are many (many!) stories in the Bible, but do we know to Big Picture? We might have a few favorite stories, but do we know how they all connect together, and how they lead to Jesus in some way? Do we know how God relates to the people in times of strength and times of struggle?
Read - This week read pages 174-5, the story of Jesus as a young child. You can also catch up on any stories you've missed over the break :-).
Practice - Parents, here's an activity to do at home together during the week from Building Faith, an Anabaptist resource. "Light of the World"
Serve - This season of Epiphany, consider what gifts we can give as we remember the Magi ("three wise men") that brought gifts to Jesus. One option this Epiphany is to support Casa de Paz as they help people detained and imprisoned by offering lodging to visitors and those recently released. This Epiphany season we are collecting donations of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and bottled water/juice/Gatorade in the church office for Casa de Paz.
Pray - Consider reciting a version (or part) of this Psalm 23 found on page 128 in your Story Bible.
