Today we reflect on our worship service and the adult's Christmas Story. We were asked three questions:
(1) who/what celebrate our church community story?
(2) what do you wish to see emerge from our church community?
(3) what gift shall we pass on to our children and future generations?
During this time of waiting, how do we wait longer than just a month or year? How do we wait for a generation? What does it mean to keep waiting for things, events and transformations that we may never witness during our lifetime? What does it mean to care and believe so much that our faithfulness prepares the way for children we'll never know or meet?
We wait for Christ as we wait for what may never be.
We wait for Christ as we wait with expectations that may never be.
We wait for Christ as we wait with eternal hope.
We wait for Christ as we wait with eternal faithfulness.
We wait for Christ as we prepare for our children.
We wait for Christ as we ___.
We wait for Christ.
