Peace School - We'll learn about prophets, and how they listened to God and preached to kings and priests and all the people. The prophets often told the kings what would happen if they didn't follow God. The visual below is the "King's Crown and Priest's Pitcher" representing this sixth section in the Bible Storyline, "Kingdom and Temple." The streams of light represent the voice of the prophets during this time.
Reflect - To learn more about the time of the Kings, Priests and Prophets, you can read a few of these stories in your own Bible (5th Graders) and Spark Story Bible (4th Graders) and Shine On Story Bible (3rd Graders):
God Will Bring Peace - Isaiah 2:1-5, Spark 164, Shine 140
Isaiah's Call - Isaiah 6:1-8, Spark 166

You can also use the following activity to do at home together during the week from Building Faith, an Anabaptist resource. This activity works with sharing God's love, "Salt and Light." The prophets hoped their messages would be salt and light to their people.
Pray - Consider reciting a version of the LORD's Prayer on page 278 in Spark. There's also a contemporary version down below from New Zealand.
Serve - As we collect Thanksgiving Food Baskets for DenUM, here's a video about their Food For All project that our donations good toward.
Explore - Watch another video below from our Jewish friends as they illustrate Psalm 1.
